Heropath in the UK presents workshops, coaching and facilitation based on the work of Dr. Joseph Riggio in the USA, who for over 20 years has developed models building on the work of others and incorporating the latest understandings from research in bio-physiological and neurological study. The relevant models that have been developed by Dr. Joseph Riggio are the Mythogenic Self-TM Experience Process and Exquisite Performance-TM Coaching and Consulting (EPC2) both of which are incorporated into the Heropath services.
Biosketches
Des Barry
Des has studied for more than ten years of with Dr. Joseph Riggio since their first meeting in the UK in 1997 and now is a licensed facilitator and associate trainer of the Mythogenic Self® Process
Based on these studies and his own life experience, he set up Heropath in 2006, to represent Joseph Riggio's work in the UK. Away from Heropath, Des is an engineer by training and also a former professional motorcycle road racer, achieving success at British and World Championship levels. He was British Champion in the Formula Two class in 1985.
Performance has been an area of passion for Des and he brings experience of achieving sporting success at the highest level and how the drive and determination this required can be applied to life generally, using the models developed by Joseph Riggio. What Des has learned through training with Joseph is the structure of what he did to reach the success he did during his racing days and how this can be of such benefit for those on their own ventures where performance at a high level is the priority.
He also has first-hand experience of teenagers. He and his wife Hilary have two teenage children, Hannah (18) and Robbie (16).
Jeffrey Leiken
The Owner and Director of The Centre for Confidence and Success, based in San Francisco, California, USA. He is a Professional Mentor with over 20 years of experience empowering youth to lead extraordinary lives. He draws on models of work as diverse as Mythogenics, hypnosis, counselling, coaching, story telling, communication skill training and more, to effectively connect with teens where they are and give them the experience and learning they need to truly live their lives being confident and competent people. His work is masterful, positive and most importantly, amazingly effective. His teaching style is lively, engaging, and often upbeat and humour filled and there is always a sense that whatever he is talking about is having an effect on many levels in the people he is working with. Jeff is passionate about leading teens to become young adults of integrity, committed to taking care of the world they live in and building and sustaining healthy, positive relationships. He runs trainings, and has private clients mentoring with him, across North America and Europe. He is also a Master Trainer of the Mythogenic Self® Process and holds a Masters Degree in Educational Counselling, and has gone on a journey of his own to arrive at a place of integrity and congruence with what he teaches. Highly qualified facilitators who share the passion and skill with this work assist him.
Dr Joseph Riggio
Architect and Designer of the MythoSelf® Process Social Ontologist
Joseph (as he is referred to by almost everyone - a notable exception are those who insist upon being referred to by their professional titles themselves) is probably most well-know as the architect and developer of the Mythogenic Self Process and an international figure in the professional NLP and hypnosis communities. However, he is also just as well-known beyond these communities as a remarkably talented advisor and coach to some of the most powerful individuals in international business and political circles. He works with these clients developing strategies regarding moving forward both on their own and just as often in regard to entire teams of individuals. What Joseph may be most renown for in his professional capacity as advisor and coach is his extraordinary insight to what motivates people to action, both personally and professionally, and his ability to organize the means to articulate the specific messages that will move these individuals to actually taking action. This may just as often be a conversation regarding the next step in an executive or professional career as it will be a plan to transform an entire organization to attain a new level of competence in meeting the demands of an ever-changing and often chaotic marketplace. His ability to assist his clients in meeting these challenges on a personal and professional level that will frequently exceed the expectations of the clients themselves is legendary.
